I figured those must be overlaid real eyes. No animator nor AI could yet get such perfect nuance. A big part of the mesmerizing draw. Also an example of a very good actor/model, who can tell the story and emotion just through her eyes. (Or him, I suppose) I didn’t notice if the actor is given credit. I imagine he/she must be listed.
Wow. Not sure ‘like’ is the word but ‘amazed’ by it. Nightmarish, to be sure. Not sure of its meaning, except ‘surrounded by horrid circumstances, she was ultimately freed by a moose’? Trust NFB to make another one where I gasp with wonder and ‘How did they DO that?’ Drawn in from first to last scene.
