I enjoyed writing about and illustrating my somewhat-guilty pleasure this week.

I’ve used this photo of my Welsh Gran and Canadian Aunty Pam at Lake Louise in a few posts lately so I keep coming across it, and fall in love with it more every time.

A vintage French postcard (circa 1913) I absolutely must use in a collage sometime.

It reminds me of one my favourite memes.

Meet Ellie, a three-month-old orphaned opossum rescue living her best life at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Remembered that it’s National Crime Reading Month.

Couldn’t eat these while reading crime fiction – just too pretty. Stained glass shortbread cookies by @soiled_plants2 on Twitter, using flowers from her garden. Apparently she’s a data analyst when not creating delicious gorgeousness.

This caused me to snort iced coffee all over my iPad yesterday. And my day got a whole lot more glimmery today since I started this post! Twitter hasn’t been this much fun since … well, since Elon Musk took over. *smirks ironically*
