Do you remember the Swiss band Yello? One of the bangingest electronic dance music duos of the 1980s, along with Sparks and The Twins. They really haven’t dated compared to most from back then.
This is probably their most famous tune, thanks to its use in film and TV, especially Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Echt ein banger track. Bow, bow, chick, chicka-chick-ahhh. And the production is superb – it makes a great test track when you’re setting up an audio system.
I love I Love You.
But this is probably my favourite because, when it comes to music, books, or anything else, atmosphere is primo. (Managed to avoid using the T-word there, a verb +s followed by ‘all’, which has been ruined forever. This is why we can’t have nice things).
Then there’s Vicious Games, The Rhythm Divine (featuring Shazza Bazza), Pinball Cha Cha …
And thanks to Yello, you can have fun making your own electronic music! This is the creative folder app set-up on my iPad Pro.
See Yellofier? That’s their gift to us. You can find it for iOs or Android. Go and make your own banging tracks to share with us all ✨🎶✨
